Joining forces with Team in Training, John Wayne Schulz will perform a benefit concert at the County Line on I-10 and DeZevala on May 13, 2011 from 7-10pm. This event is open to the public and all money raised will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Admission to the event is free. Open donations will be collected and items will be auctioned off all in an effort to raise money to assist with research and the quest for a cure. The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support alfa romeo services.
"I have learned through watching my mother endure cancer, that mental attitude is a huge part of the battle," Schulz says. "Knowing that there are organizations like LLS w ferrari orking diligently to find a cure brings hope. As long as patients and their families have hope, there is always a reason to fight. It is important that we all do what we can to raise money and support quality organizations that perform medical research…and it doesn't hurt to have some fun along the way!."
The event will be filled with live music, stories from cancer survivors, and opportunities for all who attend to donate.
