Detention Distractions Becomes a New Online Network Debuting its First Two New Shows

PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 29, 2011– LOS ANGELES – Two years ago, a bunch of high school students took YouTube by storm by creating a grassroots phenomenon featuring irreverent sketch comedy. Now in its third season bmw , Detention Distractions is now becoming an online network and unleashing the first two of many shows to come to create more comedy and fun for their thousands of fans.

"We want to come up with some new ideas to carry the show forward to more fans," said Founder DeVante Warren. "These two new shows are going to be very popular with ou auto part c.com/category/chevrolet">chevrolet r fans. However we still have our classic characters – like Mr. Dollar, Faithiney and Darnell Jenki audi ns – that will also be a big part of our shows."

The first two new shows now available on Detention Distractions the online network are "Game Addict" and "Distractions", an entertainment news show. While the Game Addict show features reviews of popular video games, Distractions covers more entertainment news topics. The topic of the first show, Charlie Sheen.

"We had to make our first show about Charlie Sheen," Warren said. "There is nobody making the entertainment news as much as Charlie Sheen now that the Lindsay Lohan news has passed. We also cover the fact that Christina Aguilera really needs some spice."

Meanwhile the Game Addict show was launched with the reviews of three very popular games – "Marvel vs Campcom 3: The Fate of Two Worlds," "Bulletstorm," and "Fight Night 3: Champion." "Game Addict is hosted by Giancarlo 'Gianni' Soto and he does some great reviews of games," Warren said. "Games are truly his passion and he knows what he is talking about."

The debut shows of Game Addict and the Distractions News Show are now available online at the Detention Distractions YouTube page, as well as on over 10 of the most popular video sharing sites including Blip.tv, Metacafe and DailyMotion. Since their August 2009 premier, they've had almost one million online viewers of their videos.
