2011 was a rec corsa ord-breaking year for the MAR-JCC with Summer Camp Sol Taplin attendance at its highest. As the regular summer camp season cools down into its final session, the momentum continues to soar at the Center, with many fun options for kids to continue their summer vacations up until the beginning of the new school year. There are a variety of Mini-Camps to choose from, including: Swim Academy: Ages 3-5, children learn basic swimming skills while improving existing skills Field Trip car news tic.com/category/buick">buick Mini-Camp: Grades K-5, kids enjoy local field trips to places such as Parrot Jungle, Plaster Castle, Laser Quest, and more. Tennis Mini-Camp: Grades K-8, kids learn drills, strength training, strategy, stroke analysis, match Play. Cool off each day in the JCC pool. J-CAT Theatre: Grades 1-5, practice your skills in the art and craft of theatre. When not "on stage" enjoy camp oriented activities such as swimming and outdoor play. Robotics: Ages 6-12, design, build, and program real-life models, & learn about renewable energy sources. Features NEW special Lego Robots. (Offered from August 8-12 only). All Star Basketball: Ages 6 & up, learn from the Pros! Lessons will range from shooting & passing to dribbling and more. Includes contests, games and tournaments.
